We at Trover ® hope you have enjoyed
our site and that you will send us a picture of your four legged friend
and in one line explain why they are so special to you.
| Aztec had ordered a Trover Town coat but before it arrived she became very sick. It eventually transpired had licked a toad and was seriously poisoned. She had to spend 2 days in doggy hospital and took a week to fully recover so the coat has been truly brilliant. She lost a lot of weight and we really didn't think you would want a scrawny picture. However she has bounced back and is now very proud of her new fashion look!

| Shortly after this photo was taken , Midget thought it would be a good idea to go back into the sea, which she did still wearing the coat. So she clearly thought it made a glamorous swimming costume!!!!!!

| The Trover coat fitted 100% perfect. I was dubious that we could have taken the measurements correctly although using the sheet provided with the diagram it seemed a fail safe procedure. Although we did have the disadvantage of a very playful, large, naughty Briard who thought it a great game and was enjoying all the fuss and attention of his two owners trying to restrain, pull and measure him with little or no success - when in doubt hide under the coffee table...please note the coffee table is at least 3-4 inches smaller than Monty. Which he obviously was oblivious of. Bless. |

| Poppy was saved from her previous owner who was going to have her out down at 18mths and now she has reached the grand old age of 20. She is still full of life (Always first of the sofa at walk time!) despite failing eyesight and hearing. She loves her Trover ® Bone Dry coat as she finds it very comfy and it covers her legs when she lies down keeping her all warm and toastie!
Sealwood Foxy AKA Max is a big show off especially in his new bandanna. He loves patrolling the garden for pussy cats, eating and going for long walks in the Black Mountains. Poppy gets to ride in a rucksack on these long walks as her legs don’t carry her too far nowadays and she gets a much better view this way!

| Jane;
What timing! I was thrilled to recieve the Dry Coat when I got home from my trip to Michigan. Went to the lake today and took photos of Skyler and Rivets. Attaching image of Skyler in his dry coat after a swim in the lake. Kinda overcast today - so will take more images when the sun returns. Rivets is a real water rat - she has been swimming since 7 weeks old. Attaching images.
Love the design of the dry coat! The stitching is lovely. Thank you so much for sending me this beautiful coat. I will get something up on our website as soon as I get caught up from my trip.
It was a delight to see Skyler's image up on your website. All the photos there are so precious.
Keep in touch!

Caelen came into our family at eight weeks old after the sad loss of Tayla, our first Golden Retriever who died at just three years old from cancer. He is now twenty two months old, and such a charmer! Everyone who meets him loves him....and he knows it!
Caelen has been clicker trained since eight weeks old. He knows all the usual cues, but he enjoys working so much, I have gone on to teach him many additional things. For instance, he fetches my phone, empties the washing machine, shuts doors and drawers, gives me a handkerchief if I pretend to sneeze, switches on or off a small emergency light, plays dead, takes articles to my husband and returns them to me. Right now he is learning to read ....yes, really!..... working from flash cards such as we used to teach children in the 1970's - just simple one word cues of the words he knows already. Dogs are able to learn so much more than we give them credit for - try it with your own dog. You may be really surprised!
I've lived with dogs for the very large majority of my life, and worked with them for more then twenty years. Every one of them has been dearly loved, but none more so than Caelen. He could charm the birds from the trees!

| Boris agreed to model the new Trover® Wonder Bed in his cage, but found modelling was not quite as exciting as he had anticipated. Infact he rushed off and did a spot of extreme digging as soon as the shoot was over ! His owner Teresa tells us "Boris is a very good natured, charming, adorable dog, very good with people, and he loves to sleep on our bed. And as he is quite a big one, he doesn't leave much room for us. He prefers sleeping on his back and then he snores like ten old men. Actually, he's only five.
He has had a hip replacement last year and the operation has been a great success. I wish we would have had one of your lovely wonder beds for the carrier cage after his op. The transport would have been much more comfortable."

| Fancy is our always mischievous and naughty little Madame with more charm than a few words and pictures can describe. We are very proud of her achievements as a family pet, a show dog, a Mum and a great comedian. She has a huge will to please and will retrieve anything from everywhere. Which is why she desperately needed a Trover Bone Dry coat. If you take too long to throw the dummy for her she will leap a meter high in the Air and if the lake happens to be frozen where her stick has landed then she will crack the ice but bring it back to you with a tail wagging so hard that it hurts both her and others. Magpie is her second name and no mobile phone or electric razor is safe in her range. She adores her new coat and loves to wear it to shows, in the car, after a bath or simply to snuggle up when her Dad has forgotten to light the fire.

Fancy...............that!

| Millie and Fin have really grown up together - he was about 14 weeks and she was about 2 when he arrived. They have hugged, played and slept together, but the secret is that Fin the dog knows that Millie is the boss however
small she may be. He is adored and loved by all of us. We could not hope for a more
patient and docile animal - unless you happen to be a rabbit or a deer, in which case the chase is on! However, after a lot of hard work he has learnt to coexist with a couple of cats. |

| Ruby our much loved Bichon Frise, lives in Plymouth, and is seen here modelling her brand new Trover Drench coat. Ruby is very boisterous and loves to play. She is also a girly girl, and loves being pampered, which is just as well with all that hair! She loved her Trover ® Drench coat as soon as she tried it on, which is great as she can't do a thing with her curls when she gets wet. |

| Samson is a big softie at heart and has been suffering with a nasty form of arthritis and not been feeling too good of late. He has started hydrotherapy but is finding it difficult to master the art of swimming – not quite sure yet what his legs are meant to do and he finds it very tiring. Samson has an hours journey back after his swim so his bone dry is perfect for drying him off and keeping his muscles warm. He loves to show off his new bone dry to his friends and is so pleased at last to find a coat that fits perfectly and makes him look so handsome. Samson is a true ‘gentle giant’ who loves loads of cuddles and his favourite spot is on mum & dads bed or the sofa. One very spoilt member of the family.

| Hughie and Stella Brickhill live in London, where they work for the Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake. Days are usually spent at Head Office in Chelsea, where Hughie particularly keeps a watchful (and somewhat vocal) eye on couriers, deliveries, postmen and neighbourhood cats. With their wealth of experience in the fashion industry, the Trover® Coats naturally caught their eye. They selected the tailored black County Coat for its chic style and timeless quality and comfort.
They plan to visit Alderney sometime in the summer of 2007 to visit their old friend Misty Spice ( see below), who recently relocated from London.

| Misty Spice, whose last job was modelling for The Tatler, is a rare breed; the Alderney Terrier. She poses in her Trover® Bone Dry on the steps of her studio with her mother Nicki Spice. As a Sagittarian she knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. |

I’m a dog that’s incredibly fit
And I go out for runs quite a bit
I must tell you one thing and that’s I love my sling
And run hell-for-leather after it.
Now coats I have had quite a few
In fact designer labels for me are nothing new
But one thing I’ve found they all drag on the ground
And get in the way when I poo.
Well today I went out in my Trover
And the experience bowled us all over
The wind howled around and my sling hardly touched ground
But me and my coat were in clover.
You may think that I tried to persuade her
But my mum said that I looked like a caped crusader
As I ran after my sling I felt just the thing
And felt “the force” just like Darth Vader.
Well, I put the Trover through all of its paces
While clocking all the other dog’s faces
I couldn’t find fault even after a back somersault
(During which I sacrificed one or two graces).
You can see from the attached digital pic
That the Trover looks pretty slick
You can put my picture on TV
If you give the royalties to me
Or something substantial to lick.

| Rocket is small in stature but big in heart and has no idea he is a small dog especially when he takes us for a walk! We find we get lots of comments on his Trover® coat, he doesn't seem to notice, but there's a distinct swagger when we walk off!
When we have visitors and they are still there at 9pm (his bedtime) if they are sitting down he will stand behind them with paws on each of their shoulders muzzle in their hair and push!!!!! - if that doesn't work perhaps pick up one of his soft toys and stand in front of them until they move!

| This handsome chap spent last Christmas at Battersea Dogs home; this year he will be in the heart of his family with a Trover coat to keep him warm and dry.Shogun is typical of Akitas with an aloofness surrounding those external to his immediate family. Initially that family were looking for a female which would be calmer in nature, but Shogun, for a male, is most laid back and his greeting upon arrival after a hard day's work is so refreshing. His unconditional love for his family is truly a measure of his Temperent towards the human race. He is however an extremely alert guard dog that unless invited will perform his duty and notifies his parents of oncoming strangers, who are most cautious when delivering pizza's or mail. The neighbours love him, his family adore him but are aware that Shogun chose them, rather than the other way around and for which they feel truly blessed. He has a smile to die for, and at 8 stone is a bubbly puppy even at 3yrs. Without Shogun life would be dull, he is and always will be the centre and foundation of his family.

| Baily, our beautiful hydrotherapy client, is modelling his new Bone Dry Trover at the poolside. He looks like butter wouldn't melt in his mouth....it does,a full two pound container! He has recently discovered work tops. His Mum caught him with the full fruit bowl in his bed if you please; he had munched his way through three apples(not too keen on bananas!)and was laying there like lord muck with a pineapple in his mouth. His Mum says that she now has the clearest work surfaces in the world! |
